Inc. Village of East Williston

'I like to see a man proud of the place in which he lives.' A Lincoln
East Williston Village Justice, Joseph J. Sperber, was recently sworn in as President of
the Nassau County Magistrates Association at the Association's installation dinner held at the
Nassau County Bar Association. EastWilliston Mayor, David E. Tanner, and Deputy Mayor,
Bonnie Parente, were on hand at the installation dinner to present to Judge Sperber a Resolution 
of the East Williston Village Board of Trustees congratulating him on the occasion and wishing
him success in his new position as President of the Magistrates Association. Nassau County
Supreme Court Presiding Justice, Thomas A. Adams administered the oaths of office to Judge
Sperber and the other officers and directors. The Nassau County Magistrates Association
membership includes approximately 150 current and retired Village Justices and Acting Village
Justices of the Village Courts in Nassau County. The Magistrates Association provides
continuing legal education for its members and for village prosecutors and a forum for its
members to meet and assist each other.
