Beautification Committee

 

We "aint" just weeds!

 

The East Williston Beautification Committee is comprised of residents who year round plan and prepare areas throughout our village for planting/landscaping, decorating and other celebrations. We provide service opportunities for our school children and invite you to join our efforts. The committee strives to make everyone "proud of the place he lives", but his cannot be accomplished without VOLUNTEERS.

 

WE WILL BE MEETING IN FRONT OF THE VILLAGE HALL ON SATURDAY, MAY 19TH AT 10 AMM TO WORK ON THE VILLAGE HALL AND TRAIN STATIN PLANTERS. GLOVES AND TOOLS WILL BE PROVIDED.

 

Adopt a Spot - An individual or group of neighbors/friends selects a village spot that needs "sprucing up" (i.e. needs weeding, mulching, fertilizing, pruning, new plantings, etc.) and adopts it. You will be recognized with a plaque placed in the selected location.

 

"Most Beautiful Garden" Award - Email a picture of your front yard (include your name and street address) to the ewbc@gmail.com by June 15th. A plaque will be displayed on the winner's property from June 30th - November 30th.
